Soon after the NoidaDM had issued an order that landlords can not pressurise tenants (daily wage workers) for paying the monthly rent, Lucknow administration has also taken similar steps. To ensure that the impact of lockdown is dealt sympathetically, officials have even made the provision of punishing landlords for not abiding to this orders.
Several daily wagers were forced to leave their rented premises as they failed to pay the rent. They are now trying to reach back to their native places . This has increased the risk for spread of Coronavirus even to the remote villages. The initiative will help many Daily wagers in Noida and Lucknow and similar order is expected for other locations also
