Eat soy to reduce cholesterol

Soy products include tofu, soy milk, soy beans and edamame beans. Evidence shows that regularly eating soy products can help to slightly reduce ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.  Eating soybeans and foods made from them, like tofu and soy milk, are powerful way to lower cholesterol. Choose soy products that are close to how they are found in nature, like soy beans, plain unsweetened soy milk and unflavored tofu.
