Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had recently pledged  Rs 25 crore towards PM Modi’s PM-CARES fund.Team India skipper Virat Kohli and his wife  Bollywood star Anushka Sharma  had jointly donated Rs 3 crore . Anushka Sharma had written on Instagram “Virat and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens #IndiaFightsCorona,” 

Baahubali star Prabhas also donated Rs 4 crore to the relief funds against the COVID-19. Out of the donation amount, the Baahubali star pledged of Rs 3 crore to the Prime Minister’s relief fund and Rs 50 lakhs each to Chief Minister’s relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Varun Dhawan: The Street Dancer actor promised to contribute Rs3 million to the PM Care Fund tweeting: “We will overcome this. Desh Hai To Hum Hai [If there’s a country, then there is us].

Rajinikanth: The South Indian actor, who made his television debut this week with ‘Into The Wild With Bear Grylls’, has donated Rs5 million for relief work.

Kartik Aaryan contributed Rs 1 crore to the fund.  “It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a nation. Whatever I am, whatever money I have earned, is only because of the people of Indian and for us, I am contributing Rs 1 crore to the PM-CARES Fund. I urge all my fellow Indians to also help as much as possible,” the actor wrote in his Instagram page.

Actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra donated Rs 21 21 lakh to  PM-CARES fund.

Hrithik Roshan: The ‘War’ actor has been posting relentlessly on ways to battle the coronavirus outbreaking by urging his fans to stay indoors to prevent the spread. He also procured N95 and FFP3 masks for municipal workers in Mumbai.
