On 27th March United States President Donald Trump signed a massive $2.2 trillion economic rescue bill so as to help in uplift of the economy and so as to address the coronavirus pandemic. The bill had passed the Republican-led Senate on Wednesday with overwhelming 96-0 vote.
“We are taking care of our people,” Trump said , referring to the bill.
The deal aims to buttress the economy by investing USD 2 trillion in health facilities, the businesses and also the ordinary Americans buckling under the stress of the coronavirus pandemic. The measure will put cash directly into the hands of Americans hard hit by the crisis, provides grants to small businesses and hundreds of billions of dollars in loans for larger corporations including airlines, and expands unemployment benefits.
