Why to reduce sugar in PCOS

It’s critical to avoid high sugar foods with PCOS. Eating less sugar keeps lower blood glucose levels. This manages insulin levels, and reduces male hormone levels. To best manage insulin levels and cut down the amount of sugar in your diet:

  1. Opt for fruit instead of juices or high carb snacks.
  2. Have sufficient protein with meals and snacks – this will help with feeling full.
  3. Avoid sugary soft drinks, sweets, cakes and ice cream.
