Yoga is best for diabetes control

Yoga is increasingly used as an adjunctive therapy in the management of Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). In a study participants were assigned to a Yoga intervention group with an Exercise intervention. A significant reduction in glucose and BMI was noted in the ‘Yoga’ intervention group compared to the ‘Physical Exercise’ group. Yoga has beneficial effects on glycemic control in comparison to physical exercise in T2DM
