How is keto diet different from low carb diet?

  • Keto diet suggests to have high good quality fats like we get from eggs, fish, seeds, nuts and low carbs, moderate protein. In a low carb diet it is suggested to have low carbs with low fat but with a higher protein diet. 
  • In a keto diet as we eat more fat our body switches to fats for the energy with the help of ketones, but in a low carb diet our body gets energy through carbs.
