Is brown bread, a healthy option ?

Browning of bread can be due to molasses (sugar) in it. Bread cannot be made using complete wheat flour, it will definitely have a considerable proportion of refined flour too. So check label before you buy. If it has more than 80% whole grains & no chemicals or preservatives you can go for it. Though such breads are NOT commonly found. Bread also has sodium, sugar etc making it a less healthy choice than Chapati.
