Why can’t I eat roti or wheat products in a keto diet?

Roti is made up of wheat which contains lots of carbs. In keto diet, it is recommended to have low carb food. To have the body shift from carbs to fat for energy, it is important to have low carbs and high fat foods, which further makes the metabolic changes and ketones produced by fat breakdown act as an energy source for the body in place of glucose from carbs.
